
Meet the Optometrist
Dr. Stuart M. Mann, OD, M.A.F.C.O.V.D., comes to us with a particular interest in children's vision care and vision therapy for adults and children. A third-generation optometrist, Dr. Mann graduated from the Pacific University College of Optometry with an interest in learning-related vision problems.
Doctor Mann earned his master of arts in reading from Notre Dame Namur University. Doctor Mann practiced for many years in Northern California. He is board-certified in pediatric vision care and vision therapy by the College of Optometrists and Vision Development and has served on the board of directors of this organization.
He is also glaucoma certified. He has been involved with the local and state optometric associations, serving as president of the San Mateo County Optometric Association, president of the Bay Area Optometric Council, and on the board of trustees of the California Optometric Association in 2010.
Doctor Mann came to Southern California to establish the pediatric clinic at the new College of Optometry at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona. After an enjoyable three years with Western U, Doctor Mann decided to return to private practice at Simpson Mann Optometry. He brings his background in pediatric children's care, vision therapy, and contact lens care, including orthokeratology, to the practice…. along with personalized service for children and adults.
